New Work for a New Year

2018 was a year of putting myself out there as an artist. It was scary at first, but has been so rewarding. People have been so kind and I'm so thankful for the many old friends and new friends who have supported and encouraged me along the way. I've enjoyed reminiscing about old buildings with people at the Rocky Mount Farmer's Market, taking on new projects with people who were willing to take a gamble on whether I could figure out how to paint a sea turtle or a corn field and farm equipment, and being given the privilege of drawing homes as a keepsake for their inhabitants (the latest is below).

Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to do what I love and be a part of something they love. I'm looking forward to the new projects this year is bringing.
